It is what it is. Stingy on the cheese! Some staff need a little training, smile it won’t kill you! Other than that clean, and fills the hole in your belly!

Yes I know, I know, Baguette Expressessss are a dime a dozen and just about on every street corner in town.
Yes, I agree.
But, when you’re faced with little or no choice of alternative, such as myself stuck out working at the Gyle M to F, you want a lunch option that is consistent and dare I say it, predictable.
You often do not have huge amounts of time to look around and find that little gem of a café or coffee shop and, as noted above re: Gyle, know these little stars do not exist within close proximity, so having a Bag-Ex close by is a blessing in disguise.
More often than not you’re greeted with friendly enough staff and will always find some veg /meat /other baguette /panini /roll /soup combination that appeals. A draw back is of course there is often a small wait during the 12 — 1pm rush until you’re served… by hey, its a sign that confirms that the Gyle really has very little reliable & decent food offerings.
