The service was awful, I nearly got up and left at one point and when the food did arrive it was well below standards, the stir fried pork was bland and there was absolutely no seasoning I could tell straight away that it had been in the microwave. Never again!!!

My top restaurant in Eastbourne;-) Currys are rich and flavoursome portions are huge and the quality of the meat is obvious. Nice comfortable clean place stuff polite and always smiling, highly recommended.

Despite Eastbourne enjoying quite a long stretch of coastline, it’s actually quite hard to find anywhere within sight of water where you can sit and eat al fresco, so the area around Sovereign Harbour, where Thai Marina is located, does get quite busy, especially when the weather is good. I visited the restaurant on Sunday for the first time and it was a blissfully hot, sunny day. There was plenty on offer on the main menu, but I opted for a meal from the two course ‘Lunch Special’. I chose the vegetable spring rolls with a sweet chilli dipping sauce, followed by stir fried pork with ginger and mushrooms, washed down by a nice Italian red. The potions were not huge — but perfectly adequate and very yummy! At another table there was a rather irritating customer haranguing the staff about the slow service. However, it was Sunday, the hottest day of the year — and the staff in every restaurant in the block(of which there are several) had just had to cope with a total power failure that had lasted about an hour… Fortunately, the rude man and his partner got up and left, leaving me to enjoy my speedily served lunch in peace. And with two courses plus a small glass of wine(or soft drink) for just £12.95 what’s not to like?! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I am afraid that I was left hungry & dissapointed after spending £130 pounds for 3 people, & that was with NOWINE! just a few soft drinks when I dined at the thai marina last week. the best thing I have to say was that the presentation was excellent, nice plates pity I couldn’t eat them, but that did not make up for the size 0 portions at an average of £7 per dish. The location was spot on & the service was good but really not Authentic Thai food with many dishes prepared with frozen of the shelf products like the mixed dim sum which you can buy from croydon’s chinese supermarket & ready cooked frozen roast duck breast?. Now really! is that what you call Authentic. If they think they can profit from cheating customers who don’t really know Thai cuisine they should really think twice As it left a real bad taste in my mouth. I love Thai food & have been eating it for years. so I know my food & how it’s made. Thai Marina has been established for 10 years so the waiter told me. It’s a real shame that the restaurant has forgetten about what they serve instead of being greedy & overcharging for second rate food on a fancy plate. I was expecting quality food not frozen micorwave rubbish which you can get from your local buffet restaurant. If Any one dare say they enjoy the food. Please try The Blue Elephant in kings road, Chelsea(London) & Cheaper Then comment back. Now that is Authentic Thai cuisine.

This is handy when i visit my sister who lives in soverign harbour — so its a 10 minute walk to this restaurant. Food is lovely here — great starters and main meals such as thair green curry, stir frys and lots of choice on offer. Portion sizes are reasonable, i’ve never footed the bill here but it can be pricey, but food is always delicious and the service is good too. Would recommend.

There is a great choice of food here and staff pay attention to detail and are consistently friendly and helpful. It is, however, a little on the pricey side but ideal for a special meal. Situated in a fantastic location too. Not really a place to take your kids out for a meal to.

Not as good as some in Eastbourne. The food is fine enough but has definitely been Anglicised so our poor little palates can cope with it. I can’t fault the staff for their take on how waiting on tables should be done either. It makes for a pleasant experience generally. But as I say, the food lets it down a little, hence the lack of stars. The location is great, particularly if you come along in summer, but the price is a little on the high side. Still, with a waterfront location I guess there is a price to pay somewhere.

Good authentic Thai food, a little pricey but that’s because of the location. Good service and excellent cooking.

I went here with my wife for our recent(and last as it turns out) wedding anniversary. The food choice was mostly what you’d expect in a thai restaurant in a marina with a good selection of red meat, white meat, fish and vegtarian dishes. Service was very good and the prices were reasonable although by no means the cheapest. Staff were friendly and helpful and the meal was as nice as it could be.
