Description

Specialties

We have been established over 20 years and have rescued 1000s of reptiles from all over the UK. Not only do we provide a sanctuary for sick and unwanted reptiles but we also have a rehoming centre which is open to the public. We also offer boarding facilities for your scaly friends whilst you’re on holiday along with the UKs first accredited course in reptile care. Educational literature and impartial advice are all part of our service too.

History

Established in 1991.

The sanctuary came about due to the impulse of turtle buying during the Ninja turtle craze. Many people had no idea how big these animals could grow and how long they could live for. Since then, the sanctuary has continued to grow, later becoming a registered charity. The sanctuary is not funded in any way other than through public donations and relies soley on these to continue its work
