Since House of Fraser took over Beatties (Or should I say trading under the House of Fraser name) the shop has become somewhat ‘dead’ and very shabby with loads of gaps everywhere and old stock which is far overpriced.
I think this was the last major shop Dudley town centre had left and now this had practically gone — So had calling Dudley a town as its just now a high street with a few worse for where shops.

Well this is really house of fraser now. The store in dudley i think is more aimed at the older generation. Not very moden at all. They do have an ok perfume area and the upstairs is cutlery etc which is quite cheap when they have sales on. Not my first choice of shop. Café does nice food aswell but its quite expensive as are all beatties/​house of fraser

beatties sell top quality stuff but there prices are expensive so if you are on a budgit i would not try this store
