History

Established in 1988.

Compton started as a small farm strip, after the previous owner bought his very own Tiger Moth. It has been established as an airfield since 1960. Taken over by the current owners in 1988, they have since built up the business to the thriving airfield it is now. Compton has provided flight training for royalty, film stars and Olympic champions! The airfield and restaurant now benefits from over 100,000 visitors a year, is open 360 days, with free entry to everyone.
