I would never consider anyone else but Roger Barker — he is the most lovely person and his staff too are so sensitive and professional in their duties at such sad and traumatic times. I’ve experienced sadly too many funerals in recent years but their help and comfort has guided us through.

Feels a bit odd writing a review of an undertaker! Unfortunately I’ve got to know Mr Barker quite well over the last couple of years — he arranged my Dad’s funeral so professionally and in such a caring way I immediately suggested him when my father-​in-​law died a year later. Seeing how he dealt with the two different families demonstrated how he somehow instinctively has a feeling for the needs of those involved and gives tactful, friendly advice. He confidently and expertly led us through very difficult times and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Having said all that — I’m hoping NOT to have to see him again too soon!
