Always a friendly welcome. Good value simple food and a few CAKES!!!

I obviously went here on a bad day and I shall have to go again. The staff were probably on the end of a bad day or a long week. Not a smile to be seen anywhere.
Average stuff — jacket potatoes, sandwiches, sausage rolls. Nothing special but good for a lunch if you work in Didcot.
I’d go to Salinas 2 over here any day though

I use this café 3 or 4 times a week for lunch and can not praise it highly enough, it really is much more than a café as the guy that owns it is a proper chef in his own right as can be found should you try his spaghetti carbonara or chilli con carne all freshly prepared on site. Of course most people tend to use here for a sandwich at lunch which also are very nice and made freshly in front of you. I have casually chatted to Ricardo the owner on many occasions about his food and he has real passion for his trade and food so i would urge you to go try his wares and enter into convo with him which he is always glad to do, and to make things more appealing the prices are very reasonable too, oooh and did i mention they do the best mocha coffee in town
