Woof and ready dog grooming provides a full service to make you dog look and feel fantastic. Providing a bath and dry service to help your dog smell fresh or a full groom which may involve clipping scissoring or hand stripping to keep the coat well maintained and looking at its best. All full grooms include nail trimming, ear and eye cleaning and anal glands emptying if necessary. All of our coat drying is done by hand with specialist high velocity dryers which help remove any dead hair and dander, you dog will leave happy and pampered.

History

Established in 2013.

Working with animals has always been a life long passion for me, after traveling for 2 years and working on an outback cattle station for 6 months over in oz I realised that when I returned to the uk I needed to do what I love, ok it took some time to get the courage to set up my own business but I studied an OCN level 2 course at Broomfield college in dog grooming, At 33 years old going back to education was thoroughly refreshing and I enjoyed every session on learning how to groom and handle different breeds of dogs, the course I did was fantastic and as it was all practical work with real dogs to work on there was plenty of opportunity to learn different techniques and styles for each breed of dog. After I qualified and passed my course I set up woof and ready dog grooming, like any business it takes a while to build up but it’s gone from strength to strength and I have a lot of valued clients that are loyal and return again and again which in turn makes me very proud.

Hi I’m kate and I set up woof and ready dog grooming, I’m 35 and have a little patterdale terrier called peggy. We live next door to stockbrook park and know lots if the dogs and owners that walk there. Woof and ready also have a dog walking service, home boarding whilst your away, pet sitting and pop ins.
