All I needed was an A4 note book to start making notes for my dissertation. So my first thought was WH Smith. Although I live near Dartford town centre, I hardly go shopping there — I much prefer Bluewater or Bexleyheath. And after seeing this branch I think I am justified! It was dark, and dingy with lots of empty shelves and stock just piled over the floor. There was one till with one lady serving in-​between what looked like a mess of paperwork and junk. I had a quick look around, but just the state of the place did not encourage me to buy anything. I give two stars because it did seem to have the basics. I won’t be shopping here again though.
