Sainsburys Supermarkets

OMFG IT’S HUGE. SERIOUSLY HUGE. I’ve been in a fair few supermarkets but this is ridiculous. Ever since they took over the old Homebase site, they’ve expanded to the point where if you stand at the entrance, you can’t see either end. Where are you even supposed to start?!
It basically sells everything. Food mixers, duvets, hoovers, plates, jewelery boxes, about 50 of every kind of food you could imagine and even Bake Off cake tins. I didn’t even know they existed.
The staff are amazingly helpful, I didn’t know what sort of fish to get but the woman at the fish counter suggested I do an Ocean pie, gave me the right amount of fish for three people and even recommended and threw in a sauce to go with it for free. I’m going to cook it tonight so we’ll see how bang on she was, but I have high hopessss.
There is SO MUCH parking, you’ll never have a problem finding a space and it has its own little slip road so getting out of it is easy peasy. Literally the only thing stopping me giving this place 5 stars is the price. It’s a Sainsburys. So even though they price check, I still spent a good £20 more than I did at ASDA last week buying the same stuff. Definitely not one to go to if you’re feeling the recession bite.

Not really expensive though as they price check like all the others do with Tescos etc.
Never had trouble parking but at Christmas you might have to park towards the edge of the car park or around the corner where the greyhound track is.
Yes I think it IS their biggest store and have a full range of goods and clothing on their upper floor and the staff are very approachable for any questions and product knowledge

Huge supermarket! It has the usual stuff and also includes a clothing section, electronic section, homeware section and a currency exchange counter.
For quick checkout there are two self checkout tills at the far ends of the store.

Yes, as all my friends tell me Sainsburys is expensive. But you know what? I just don’t care! I love this Sainsburys in Crayford. To start there’s tons of parking, so you’ll always find a space. The shop is quite clean and tidy (apart from very late at night when they have their night workers stocking the shelves — but that’s to be expected) and there always seems to be lots of cashiers and they have plenty of self scan tills. As for the food, everything is fresh and I always find what I need.

This store has had a FANTASTIC upgrade, its the largest store in the south east, its damn HUGH. The staff are first class, polite & helpful. The food range is massive, the electrical range is good. I shop here regularly, it has its own hugh car park. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
