History

Established in 1996.

In 1996 Scott Berry began his own building company, S M Berry Building Contractors Ltd, after training with his Father for thirteen years in the family business, A J Berry & Sons.

Over the past fourteen years Scott Berry has completed many Home Extension Projects throughout the North Kent and South East London Region during which time his reputation for being an exemplary builder has grown and most of his work comes from the recommendation of his satisfied customers.

Four years ago Scott Berry’s son, Elliot, joined the team at S M Berry Building Contractors Ltd, as an apprentice. Scott has been very pleased with his progress as he is now able to complete bricklaying, plastering, roofing and many other building tasks to a very high, professional standard.

In the summer of 2009 Scott’s youngest son, Jed, began his apprenticeship and has thoroughly enjoyed his first initiation into the building trade as their clients have all been very generous with the biscuits and tea each day!

Scott Berry has been working in the building trade for nearly twenty seven years specialsing in Home Extensions and Loft /​Garage Conversions. Scott has continued to enjoy his job gaining great satisfaction from striving to complete each project on time and on budget, although not compromising on quality as he is determined to maintain an extremely high, professional standard.
