The Gipsey Moth is a pub, bar and childs play area situated in the Croydon Collonades, Croydon. The venue is preliminarily a pub where one can order drinks aswell as food. The food was delicious. Eating and watching the football on the big screen televisions was very enjoyable. This was also because of the genuine family vibe I was given. This would be because of the giant play area on the second floor. I remember going to many parties there as a child. They offer great facilities and a technology area where kids can play video games. There is a food and dining area for those wishing to eat.

while Toby’s Carvery does a real value for money, delicious carvery for £5.00, the gipsy moth did a dry, pretty poor carvery for 5p less. The meat looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day and the veg didn’t fare any better. The Yorkshire pudding was also atrocious. While you try and justify it was only a fiver, it was still a fiver, especially compared to the exceptional carvery you get at Toby’s for not much more.

After a rampant game of laser quest in the retail park opposite, my team and I were suitably parched to hit this bizarrely named pub. Large and lacking in character, we clinked beers, ciders and the odd vodka tonic while chewing on reasonable chips with unreasonably garlic-like mayonnaise.
