Much as I find Crowborough to be an average kinda place, they really do have some excellent pubs. I raved about the Coopers Arms some while ago and now I’ve come upon this charmer — a proper, backstreet local with a truly excellent Harvey’s showing! Last Saturday they were offering Best, Old Ale, Hadlow Ale, that bonfire one and more I can’t remember. The Harvey’s rep must love ‘em!!! Original, rarely seen local beers in a friendly environment and a pretty Grade II listed building to boot. You could see the landlord & landlady cared about what they did & I was mightily impressed. Looking forward to trying their food too!
