Fish and chips were good but service really poor (agree with other reviewer)
Shame as location and views are great so I would still come back.
Service was slow & uninspiring.
Eg.
— I asked the difference between the four fish offered (as I’m a bit of a fish novice) and they didn’t know
— Also had to chase for attention several times
— Also felt like they did a bad job of hiding the fact that they didn’t want to be there!!!
Hopefully a darwinistic effect of no tips for the bad ones will eventually lead the some of the current staff to look for alternative careers and a better batch come through??? Still worth it for the views and good chips though!

Meal was good both the fish and chips and the mushy peas but the service was awful. Waited 25 minutes for waitress to take an order and another 20 minutes for meal to arrive. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins, a drink and the mushy peas, all of which did not arrive. The staff appeared over-​stretched and very stressed with consequently, an attitude that bordered on rudeness. A shame because the meal itself was good but we shall not be going back.
