Specialties
Set in the picturesque village of Llangynidr, surrounded by the Brecon Beacons and adjacent to the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal you can enjoy all the facilities this old coaching inn has to offer.
We have 3 rooms available for b&b, dogs welcome. A restaurant that can accommodate large parties or small gatherings, a large bar area, as well as a separate games room.
There is also a spacious beer garden, with views over the countryside and canal, as well as car parking for seventy cars. We are also members of Motorhome Stopover, meaning motorhomes are welcome to park up and stay the night.
Along side our main menu we also have a menu for our younger visitors and a specials board. Using local produce our chef prides himself on offering variety as well as sourcing locally, such as his fabulous venison faggots, made on the premises using meat from less than a mile away.
Our real ales are also from a forty mile radius, as is our wide range of Welsh ciders.
Meet the Business Owner
Tracey B.
Business Owner
Tracey and her husband Ken took over the Coach and Horses in April 2010, and promptly took straight away to the hospitality business. Her bubbly personality has made her a hit with locals and strangers a like, with many people returning just to see her!
With her well trained staff, Tracey ensures that customer service is a priority, with customers feeling at home straight away and made to feel welcome. Using locally sourced produce is a must to her, and she makes a point of being involved with as many community projects as she can, whilst still running a business. A village pub is a major part of a community, and Tracey would like to keep it that way!
