Brewmonkey has everything for the homebrewer whether you are a beginner wanting to brew beer or make wine from a kit up to those with 100 litre microbreweries. If there is something you don’t see on our website, give us a call and the chances are we can find it.

We have an extensive range of supplies for all grain brewing which is increasing all the time. The Grainfather All Grain Brewing System is also available in the shop along with ingredient kits specifically designed for that system. Come in and learn about brewing like the professionals!

Brewmonkey is licensed and through our contacts with microbreweries near and far we can offer beers that are hard (or impossible) to find elsewhere. On our shelves you will find bottle conditioned beers from Angel Ales in Halesowen, Kinver Brewery, Fownes Brewery in Gornal and the Fixed Wheel Brewery in Blackheath as well as beers from Bathams and Enville breweries.

We also offer a delivery service via our online shop.

Meet the Business Owner

Ken B.

Business Owner

Ken began his connection with brewing in the Mitchell’s and Butlers laboratory where he did his work experience from school. Trained initially as a biologist he later studied chemistry and physics. He worked in the environmental monitoring industry before joining the team that opened Thinktank in Birmingham and then going on to teach Science.

Ken firmly believes that in order to brew good beer you need to know what good beer tastes like and his favorite place for sampling excellent ales is the Waggon and Horses in Halesowen, famous for its Real Ale.
