History
Established in 1917.
Originally all the buildings that make up the Quadrant were constructed as private residences for the well to do of Coventry’s society. Each building has small architectural details which differentiate one from another meaning no two are identical.
Number 7 has had many distinguished tenants including the church warden A Dalton, whose ghost has been seen frequently in the Old Cathedral.
In 1917 number 7 became home to the cities Engineers Club, which later evolved into the private members club that exists today.
In 2009 the Quadrant Private Members Club closed it’s door for what was thought to be the final time, a tragic loss felt by many.
Fortunately this closure was short lived and The Quadrant Club Re-opened it’s door in February 2010. At the helm one of Coventry’s most well known and experienced landlords: Robin Addey.
