Specialties

We have 4 newly-​refurbished rooms for therapists of all specialities to hire. 2 of the rooms are suitable for workshop leaders or trainers, while 3 of the rooms are suitable for therapists.

We provide holistic therapies and training opportunities. Therapies always available are Reiki, crystal healing, chakra balancing and aromatherapy, with Angel card readings also provided on request. Other therapies may be available depending on which therapists are working from the Centre at the time. We have an online booking system.

History

Established in 2015.

Chris Ramsbottom started her therapy business, Pandora’s Box Healing, in 2007 and in 2015 the decision was taken to create her own centre. Suitable premises were found on Ball Hill, and a total refurbishment of the building was carried out by the owners. The Amethyst Centre started trading on 1^st September and was opened by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Coventry on the 26^th September.

Business Owner

Chris is a teaching Reiki Master and qualified Aromatherapist. She taught in Further and Higher Education for 20 years before launching her own therapy business, having taken a year out to requalify in complementary therapies. She is married with three cats. Her hobbies and interests include: cricket and most sports, knitting and crochet, family history and astronomy.
