Showcase Cinema, Coventry

I am not extremely satisfied. I was not able to get into a 15 rated movie because I’m younger than 15, however that is not why I’m mad. I’m mad because they printed and sold me a child ticket weeks in advance. It was very misleading and I am disappointed in them. They did let us use our tickets to see another movie though.

A different experience to other cinemas. It is not really good ticket prices but no cinema in coventry is!
The food and drink section is amazing though and feels like how a cinema experience should be and that you are on a trip out.
I also had the chance to view a film in screen 13 which was unreal. The cinema has comfy seats with tables in front of them and tables with chairs around with a bar at the front so you can have drinks while watching the film. Obviously this screen is for 18’s and over only. The other benifit of this is that you dont have to put up with younger teens ruining the film as you only have older people in their. The tickets prices for this screen is no different.
I usually have really nice staff in there but one or two can be a bit funny and very unhelpful which is a shame.

The best thing about this cinema would be the seats. Accommodate all shapes and sizes. The floor is sticky from carless beverage drinkers. and it slopes forward which is not comfortable for gents. There is lots of parking and many screens, but the service here is not great and they state no food or drink to be brought in, which whilst understood is a bit rude I think. The
