Only store in coventey that does almost everything electrical i think? Well it seems like it and enjoyed my shopping trip her i brought some cables etc price is abit higher than some other independant stores but its not as bad.

Maplin is a great electrical store selling every component you could quite honestly ever require for any situation.
Maplin used to be intown in a small dark little store.
But has now moved to a much larger store which has its products spread out so you can easily find them.
At the rear of the store you find a small counter, here technitians can basically create any kind of electrical component you require for a charge.
This is always helpful as you can get custom made items to fill your requirements if you are not comfortable with making your own components.

I suppose you’re either a nerd or you’re not. I’m a nerd and I could spend literally hours pottering around here. My other half is decidedly not a nerd and hates this place. The place to go for all those little audio-​visual, electronics and wiring bits that you can’t get elsewhere, as well as bigger pieces of equipment, gadgets and computer bits. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and the customer service is second to none. I ordered from Maplin once and had no end of trouble — these guys sorted it all out for me! I’d never go elsewhere now, not even to another branch of the same company. Of course you can probably find bits and bobs cheaper if you’re willing to spend hours hunting, but on the whole the prices are very competitive, and it’s no hassle to shop here at all.
