Beartown Spices

blund, tasteless chiken pathia, chiken korma is watery, pillow rice is soggy, burnt keema nan. we found human hair inside chiken tikka korai. we could not eat it. food hygine standard is very poor. delivery service is very poor. we waited 2 hours to get our meal. we never go there and never recommended to anyone to go there.

We have tried all the Indian restaurants in the area and find Beartown Spices by far the best in quality, friendly service and helpfulness. Thank you all of you who work there to produce the food… we will continue to eat it!

I’m a big fan of Indian cuisine and fortunately for me there’s no shortage of places to get a curry in Congleton. Beartown Spices is a dedicated Indian and Bangladeshi takeaway that suddenly appeared opposite my dentist, ideally positioned for me to pull over and pick up food on the way home from work.
The food is excellent and good value. Although I did initially share the set meal for two option (£19) I lived for four days on the ample leftovers… and it tasted just as good on the fourth day.
Orders are ready within about 20 minutes for pickup, and there are free sweets on the counter if you get there early. There’s also a ‘within the hour’ delivery service that’s free if you spend more than £10.
