Theatrical Sound Design & Hire specialising in Sound Design for Musical Theatre. With over 20 years experience within the Sound industry, our work has been heard in most of the UK’s Theatres, in Europe and in the United States.
History
Established in 2010.
Martyn has worked all over the world designing and engineering Sound for the past 22 years, and in this time he has gained a reputation for producing a top quality sound environment, where his attention to detail and passion for his work are considered to be second to none.
Meet the Manager
Martyn J H.
Manager
Martyn began his career in Theatre, 25 years ago working at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. He then went on to specialise in Sound working in the Sound Dept at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, before returning to the Mercury Theatre as Resident Sound Designer/Deputy Chief Electrician.
He then quickly entered the West End, and has been Head of Sound on some of the world’s greatest musicals including Phantom Of The Opera, Blood Brothers, and Return To The Forbidden Planet.
For television he has worked for BBC Northern Ireland & Ulster TV, and has commissioned the Sound on various Princess Cruises ships.
His work has been heard in most of the UK’s number one touring houses, and over his time within the industry has been Sound Designer/Engineer for various artists from all genres, including: — Lee Evans, Michael Ball, Helen Shapiro, Helen Reddy, Lyn Paul, Frankie Laine, Clare Teal, Larry Adler, Brian Blessed, Paul Nicholas, & Anna Maria Alberghetti amongst many others.
