If you are looking to learn a new skill, lose weight, and improve tone and muscle, karate is the perfect option. Yet karate — and martial arts as a whole — has so much more to offer than physical health and fitness benefits. Whilst active, martial arts are centred around respect for yourself and others, and children and adults alike have seen huge improvements in their motor skills, balance, self-​confidence and self-​control.

Establishing its full time training facility in 2009, Colchester Wado Ryu Karate provides expert martial arts tuition to children and adults aged 4 and above. Located on Davey Close, Greenstead Road, the karate club is independent and not-​for-​profit.

All instructors are fully qualified and accredited, ensuring that all students train in complete safety at all times.
