My mum assures me that once upon a time The Grange Hotel was a bit grubby. But that is not the case now after it was bought over and done up, It is alright for a good nights sleep, its not the Hilton but its good enough. The bedrooms are nicely done and use the space well, burgundy and white always looks classy which is the colour theme. The restaurant is a bit bar like but the food is really very good value with 2 courses for £6.95. And yes it is pub grub, carbs and fry for all. It was ok, not in an ideal location but probably a good place to hit passing trade as it is just as the motorway joins Coat bridge.

I havent ever stayed at the Grange hotel but i have eaten in it many times and it has quality, well priced and tasty bar food. it is pretty much a basic menu with fish n chips, steak pie etc but it is a nice, clean well serviced bar/​restaurant that has a good atmosphere in which to enjoy a drink or two with a nice meal.

Stayed in The Grange Hotel once! I don’t rate it much as a hotel because the bedroom was very old fashioned and drab! Of course, there was no mini bar or anything so luxurious but the rates are very cheap so what can one expect. The room was clean and I was having a romantic night out so I didn’t really care too much.
As a restaurant, it is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food, although, pretty basic is tasty and cheap!

small lounge but the eating area is fair sized and the food is good. staff are friendly and multilingual. drinks are not bad priced as is the food.
