We have been taking my Son to Dawn for extra Maths lessons for the past 5 months and she is wonderful with him. Before Dawn, we tried to help him but realised that we were getting nowhere fast and were actually turning him away from learning. This made him a very reluctant pupil and extremely negative about attempting any aspects of Maths. (We have lost count of the amount of the hiding under table incidents!!) Dawn has worked very slowly and gradually built his confidence up and created a understanding of Maths and is gradually turning a fear into a liking. Not sure if we will ever get to Love though. He now sits down and completes his homework on his own and sets the rules about how much he will attempt in an evening.
His school report for the first time is fantastic and we have to credit some of this to Dawn’s help and guidance.
I would have no problems recommending Dawn as a personal Tutor, in fact my Daughter is asking when she can start going too!
