Italian food in England… ok. Located right in the middle of town. Good location. The place was nice. I was part of a big group and for the most part they were able to handle us without too many problems. My biggest combing was the lack of any type of local or draft beer. They only had beers in bottles? Really? Since the only choice was bottles I went with the Peroni… I guess if it has to be bottles in an Italian place you should drink Italian beer? I had the chicken with mushrooms and it was quite good. After seeing the great looking pizza I should have gone in that direction. The reviews of the pizzas was top notch. The cheesecake dessert was good too… the one with the chocolate in it. Even living near New York where cheesecake is king, I would say this was a good effort. Italian in England is not exactly what you would think of first, but if you are in the mood for pizza and bottled beer suits you this would suffice.

We tend to use Prezzo and Ask all over the South and, to be frank, don’t find a lot of difference. Both produce inexpensive food and there are slight variations on menu descriptions but generally it’s always tasty. Lewes, Midhurst and Chichester are our favourites. Look out for offers! Well worth taking up!

One word yum! Affordable and a great lunch time spot when you are with the kids especially when they are tired and hungry after a morning of shopping in Chichester. We also downloaded Prezzo vouchers a quick Google search will bring them up

I went there last night. Great food, plenty of it, and a lovely atmosphere. Price of a soft drink was steep — a small bottle of Coca-Cola was £2.25, but suppose that’s par for the course these days. Lovely evening, though — and a very good selection for vegetarians.

This is a former pub, which has been transformed into an Italian restaurant, although there are quite a few tables, The tables are tiny for 4 people to sit around. By the time you’ve got your wine, glasses, a jug of water, theres no room for plates! I visited this restaurant last night with a group of friends. We had pre booked a table, and were making use of the temporary 2 for the price of one main course. We had the caramelised onion starter, which was delicious, about the size of a pizza we shared it between the four of us. We also had the mushrooms as a starter– but disappointingly there were only six, but they did come with lettuce and a garlicky mayonaise sauce. I had the salmon pasta for my main course and there was plenty of it, it was delicious, the sauce was creamy and they didn’t skimp on the salmon. For dessert– wow! The honeycomb mash was divine– so light. Even if we hadn’t had the voucher I would have considered full price to be money well spent, but the voucher means I can afford to go back again sooner! The waitress was very attentive, and even though they were busy she was very efficient.

Great Italian restaurant. Serves pizza, great pasta and also chicken dishes which are lovely. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The décor is very plush and you feel very relaxed. Great to go for lunch with friends or a romantic evening meal. Also have a great selection of drinks and wines.

I love this chain of restaurants, and this venue is a great example of what they do well. It’s a lovely building, nicely decorated and conserved, offers excellent service, delicious food and great prices. The Italian food is quite authentic for a nationwide chain, and is always tasty and well-cooked. The main danger is that, like me, you’ll decide on your favourite dishes and then stick to them every time! This restaurant makes for a great dinner and a good night out in Chichester. It’s peaceful, calm ambience is particularly suited to couples or small groups of friends. Have a good night!

Prezzo is a quant Italian restaurant on South Street, Chichester. Even though ‘Prezzo’ is a chain restaurant it certainly does not have that feel to it. The food is excellent and well priced. The wine choice mirrors both the quality and price of the food and the restaurant has a definant ‘Italian’ feel to it. Each time we have been it seems that the waiting staff are all Italian! even though this doesn’t effect the quality of the place, it certainly does add to the whole ‘Italian’ experience. The restaurant also benefits from having two seperate floors. Upstairs is for larger parties and has a more jolly, fun night out feel. Downstairs however is a little darker and quieter for a more romantic night out. Definatley one of my favourite nights out in Chichester!
