A large pub located near the train station. I was walking by to the train station and had time before my train so I decided why not. It is very roomy with large windows looking out on to the main road. The have several couches that look like they have seen better days but there pretty comfortable. It looked like it was mostly locals the stop in here.

Not a bad pub for a beer but I didn’t really fancy eating the food as it didn’t look particularly appetising. Might just be me though. The pub is pretty huge so great for large groups. The staff seemed really friendly and there was plenty to choose from at the bar.
We went there to watch an FA cup game and there was plenty of space to sit and watch one of their huge TVs. There wasn’t any chavs screaming at the telly which was a bonus, just a nice bunch of locals enjoying their weekend.

The Globe is a large pub right next to Chichester rail and bus stations, which is popular with students and young people generally, as well as those waiting for train and bus connections. It has several large TV screens showing sky sports, and event nights such as Karaōke on Fridays.
It does have a few real ales on tap and staff seemed friendly, and the bar was spotlessly clean and tidy. But it is clearly targeted at lads out for a good night out and, with its inocuous modern décor, it’s never going to win any prizes for character. It does standard pub food during the day, though we didn’t eat there.
What put me off more than anything, though, was an astonishing notice on the wall, which read: ‘We have a zero-​tolerance policy towards drugs. The toilet surface has been treated with chemicals, so we accept no responsibility for nose-​bleeds’.
