History
Established in 1960.
Watson & Brown was established in 1960 by Stan & Curly Watson and John Brown (Curly’s brother-in-law) and although it was small at the time, employing only 4 members of staff, it’s reputation for selling delicious home baked breads and pastries along with the finest cuts of beef, pork and lamb saw the business soon grow and the introduction of it’s now famous pork pies took that growth even further. In the early 1970’s Stan & Curly bought out John but kept the Watson & Brown name and their youngest son Peter came on board followed by their oldest son Richard and in the mid 90’s the brothers took over ownership of the company.

Manager
Kris came to work for us as the bakery manager in 1997 and has never looked back. He does not only run the bakery but designs and runs our website and online and social media marketing. An invaluable member of the Watson and Brown team.
