Nice but could be better. They could really do with getting better bread and moistening the meat more.
Staff seem nice but not overly enthusiastic.
Good location but the prices were a little high for an at best average sandwich.

Slow roast pork with crispy crackling??? Got outside and opened it up to find a rather plain bread roll, a few slices of warm pork and congealed stuffing and no crackling what soever. Went back inside with it opened and showed them that unlike the description there was no crackling. ReplyWe’ve run outbut you only get a tiny bit anyway!!!
Will stick to the nearby pastie shop infuture, far better value that £4.99 that they charge here! Will I recommend the place? Certainly, but one to stay away from.

Roast heaven !! I was so delighted when I saw their fantastic display and whilst I see some comments below not so good I can say that it certainly was not my experience when I visited then 5 times in 10 days whilst working in Chester for my company. I needed a hearty meal quickly but it is all home roasted ! not processed. Tasty gravy and crunchy roast potatoes (home roasted) The pork, beek and ham are all good– I have not tried the turkey or lamb. The staff are very kind and proud of their business. This is a must go place. They get very busy most days
