The Wheatsheaf

I’ve only recently discovered the Wheatsheaf pub in Upton, located not too far from Chester Zoo. But of the few times I’ve been it is has been a little hit and miss.
Without doubt, the main plus point of this pub is the value for money it offers. The prices are incredibly cheap, the portion size is good, and the quality doesn’t suffer too badly.
The service isn’t the best though, as while the young waiters and waitresses are polite and personable, they have been extremely understaffed everytime I have gone there, one of which was an extremely busy bank holiday.
So, providing you go there with reasonable expectations and are prepared to wait for your food then I’m sure you’ll enjoy a decent meal out that wont break the bank.
