Just finished eating the most tasty & incredible food! The steak was cooked to perfection and the deli board is to die for! But the cocktails sold me straight away. so beautiful & Yum! Fast service and friendly staff:) excellent!

Amazing! Went there on my 16th birthday for lunch and I was blown away! My food was gorgeous and the place was lovely and chilled atmosphere. Many family members have been and they were just as amazed as me! Those hanging kebabs are incredible!

Really like the look of Botanist, and am quite happy to learn that there’s one in Manchester too.
When we went it was a really chilled out atmosphere, but that might have been the time of day we went there (about 5 – 7 on a Friday)
My housemate has played a gig there and it apparently does get busier later.
It might sound like a nit picky thing to be happy about but I’m really happy they have ginger Ale AND Ginger beer, I much prefer them as a mixer to Coke I think they complements spirits better, and one is best with Whiskey and one with Rum I find lots of places either don’t stock either or just one, these guys do both lovely.
Happy staff, though that might have been because it was the beginning of the evening not the end :)

Loved this place! Stopped in today for lunch. & was wowed by the incredible craft beer ‘Almanac’ list & fab cocktail menu — delicious! There are loads of lovely nooks & crannies to sit in the restaurant which I love & a lovely outdoor patio which opens our onto the mews. Clearly a lot of care, thought & attention has gone into this place, even though it’s a small chain, I loved the décor & gorgeous plates & floral fresh ambiance! A fine new addition to Chester’s bar & restaurant scene! Oh and the food was pretty good too! Recommend the smoked haddock rarebit :)

The décor, staff and overall atmosphere is just amazing!!!
The food and beer selection was very good and the food itself was cooked very well.
I had the beef kebab with fries which I enjoyed very much!
I was however disappointed with the portion size of my desert. I was expecting someone much larger for £5 so this would be my only gripe during my visit.
I have heard its very nice to visit for drinks on a Saturday so I am definitely going to visit again.
