I used to go this resaurant all the time and used to be a fan until I found out they served us last weeks customers leftovers of fried rice and thai red curry. That should have been disposed of. They gave me 2 boxes of mushy fried rice and grey pieces of meat were found in the red curry. The next day after eating it, marks appeared on my leg, which my doctor told me was a sign i had eaten bad meat, and we always have fresh meat in our house so i know for a fact your restautant was to blame. That is absolutely disgusting food should always be served fresh. You have lost us as customers forever, we are never returning.

Pricey but delicious, no Thai restaurant comes close to this one and I
have been to a few. I frequently take friends and family who visit Chester to
this restaurant because the food is outstanding. The Thai Square chain in
London isn’t as good as this place.

The Teppan –yaki experience was AMAZING!
I have never been to anything like this before and i enjoyed every second of it.
Not only was it great entertainment, it was amazing food also.
You can see absoloutley everything that is going into your food and that makes you enjoy it alot more, believe me.
Staff were Lovely, even if i did get caught out by the Tomato sauce joke.
I will definately be booking again :)

amazing place for freshly made sushi of a lunch time although it is out of the way a little. Very reasonable prices for the lunch menu with a choice of sushi or Thai. Serves traditional Japanese beers too. Downside is no-​one ever goes there, although I am told the atmosphere is better of an evening

Siam Thai and Teppan-​Yaki restaurant on City road is split into two distinct areas. In the large upstairs area you’ll be served the most gorgeous Thai cuisine. Downstairs you’ll be entertained as your fed in the Teppan-​Yaki area. If you’ve never had a Teppan-​Yaki meal then you’ve missed out. The food is cooked right in front of you as you sit round giant hot-​plates.
The service staff and Teppan-​Yaki chefs are all very good, the food is excellent and the only thing stopping this restaurant getting 5 stars is the prices which are a little too steep.

I love Thai food, and from the 30 or so Thai restaurants I have eaten across the UK this is in the top 5. Service is fantastic, but most importantly the food is simply amazing. Can’t really say I enjoy Thai more elsewhere. A must have experience for Thai enthusiasts.

Siam is a restaurant with split personalities. Upstairs is a high quality (if slightly over priced) Thai restaurant with great service and usually a high standard of authentic Thai cooking.
Downstairs is however an entirely different experience, but certainly not in a bad way! The Teppan-​Yaki restaurant downstairs is really quite unique. You are seated at ‘cooking station’ around large cooking areas — often alongside other guests who you may not know. (Because of this, it’s not advisable to come here if you’re looking for a romantic meal for two!). The chefs then come out and take your orders for food — which they prompty prepare in front of you alongside some side orders and delicious fried potatoes!
There is quite a twist to the dining experience which I won’t spoil by talking about here, but sufficed to say it’s best to come to Siam with an open mind and be ready to smile and have some fun. It’s nothing too taxing, but the cooking can at times become a little ‘interactive’ — and the chefs really seem to enjoy themselves.
The prices are fairly high — but given you’re getting so much more than just food, this really isn’t a problem. Highly recommended.
