The Argos of the building trade Screwfix offers hundreds of thousands of essential items for everyone from the do it yourselfer to the serious house builder. If they don’t stock it then you probably won’t find it anywhere else either. Prices are extremely low whilst quality is superb, even within the Screwfix own brand product range.
Front of house is a very small counter where you place your order using the codes provided in the in store catalogues. On a quiet day your goods arrive at the collection point almost immediately whilst on a very busy saturday you may be facing a fifteen minute wait. The staff know their product range extremely well and can often assist with simple queries regarding product usage. The store also offers a next day mail order service which is free on purchases over £50. They also have a very favourable recommend a friend scheme with a £10 voucher when your friend places an order.
