History

Established in 2009.

After successful enterprises within the Interior Design, home furniture retail and property development industries, Simon Evans brought the culmination of his past working life together in the realisation of a design centre to act as a land mark showroom celebrating the very best of furniture and lighting gathered from scouting trips around the world on behalf of project clients.

Within the first 5 years of the Design Practice and showroom being established it had gained an entry to the equivalent of the Oscars the «Andrew Martin Top 100 Designers», wins in 3 International Design & Architecture Awards for successive years, 3 top Gold wins in the UK Property Awards and a win in the Northern Design awards to name the top success accolades.

Business Owner

My background is not a conventional route to design but a collection of influential experiences and travel that has led to an appreciation for design and a self learned understanding of the industry. I’m a great believer in God given talent as the strongest foundation to any successful career as well as ensuring that you maintain the excitement and passion for the job in everything you do. My own personal journey has taken me through many incredibly useful and varied chapters which have taught me the fundamentals of commercial realism with corporate roles in several Blue Chip organisations. But most importantly of all, people skills with roles and a University life at the Disney Corporation in the US. Understanding people from all walks of life, empathising with the emotional process involved in the most personal of jobs is absolutely critical and we are proud of a non prescribed route to design that is incredibly inclusive of the client and ultimately enjoyable for both parties.
