Blue Ocean Restaurant

I have just come back from lunch at Blue Ocean restaurant and was very impressed.
The restaurant is very moden with clean lines and glass and wood everywhere. It was very quiet (we were the only customers until 3 businessmen came in about 1:15pm) and they offer a very good lunchtime menu with a small selection of their more popular dishes.
We ordered poppadoms and a bowl of small poppadoms, about the size of tortilla chips was delivered with two dips — one mango, one tomato both delicious. My husband ordered a lamb selmi and I ordered lamb bhuna and we had quite possibly the freshest keema naan I have ever eaten.
Completely replete at the end of our meal, having had a diet coke each to drink, the bill was deliverered with a funnsize pack of Maltesers (??) and was just £21.55 which we felt offered excellent value for money.
Looking at the advertising they run various theme nights, the next one being a Bollywood evening in a couple of weeks time. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant

Sleek, Funky and stylish this is definitely not your run of the mill Indian restaurant! Ideal place to go for a drink aswell as a meal! Food is superb with some unusual dishes to choose from aswell as their own twists on the UK’s favourite Indian dishes. Portion sizes are generous and prices are very fair. Look out or enquire about the regular theme nights they hold.
