My opinion of this place might have been driven by the fact that we drove around this town for ages before finally finding a Chinese place we could easily get a park at, but this place was great.
I was in town for a wedding, in a ginormous car and just wanted Chinese. Finally found this place and it was brilliant. I have no idea if prices were acceptable as we just blindly handed over money (I was hungry and in a foreign country) but the spring rolls were tasty, the soup satisfied my sick sister (that alliteration was entirely accidental) and the mixed vegies were great. So overall, a great dinner and a happy experience!

Stupid owner of the shop, hit me between the eyes with a massive bamboo stick just because i refused to buy a prawn cracker. He then falcon punched me in the chin and threw me out the shop. terrible customer service!!!

If you like Chinese then it is worth a trip to the taste of china in springfield. Served in little cardboard boxes, the taste you get always seems better.
Cooked to order and really nice food.
Worth a visit.

Good food, authentically cooked by skilled chefs. The menu is very diverse with dishes from many regions of China and also basic curries and Thai dishes. Quite expensive, but massively popular in the local area. Friendly service and both takeaway and delivery avaliable, but its best to order over the phone on Friday/Saturday nights as it does get very very busy.
