St Annes Hospice Shop

St Anne’s Hospice is a fantastic place that provides help, support and care to people with life threatening illnesses. A member of my family spent some time here a few years ago and I’ll never forget how good the staff were to us. So I always make a special effort to visit their charity shops and donate.
Their Cheadle store is a particularly good one, especially if — like me — you’re getting married soon. You see, it has a dedicated bridal department, which is packed with big, beautiful white wedding dresses, bridesmaids gowns, suits, veils, tiaras and head dresses. Many of them are new and they’re all reasonably priced!
Downstairs you’ll find standard charity shop fare, although the quality is fairly high in comparison to similar stores. From books and music to bric ‘a’ brac, accessories and clothes, it’s all good. You might even find a vintage piece or a designer label amongst the racks!
