Established in 1968.

Gardiner’s was established by Dorothy Gardiner.

In 1984 Dorothy was awarded an MBE in recognition of her services to nursing and, in particular, her outstanding contribution to fostering good standards of care in the independent nursing sector.

Nowadays we specialise in the provision of nurses and experienced carers to help support clients to live in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Meet the Business Owner

John-​Joe C.

Business Owner

John-​Joe is the managing director of Gardiner’s Nursing & Homecare. He is the grandson of Gardiner’s founder Dorothy Gardiner.

John-​Joe studied Psychology at the University of Leicester before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. John-​Joe worked as an audit manager with many successful owner manager managed businesses until December 2009.

In 2010 John-​Joe joined Gardiner’s, taking over the running of Gardiner’s Nursing & Homecare in April 2011.
