I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify Subway and I realized that they’re not actually a sandwich shop. Every sandwich shop in this area instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but Subway does not. It moves to an area and multiplies and multiplies until every local is a consumer and the only way it can survive is to spread to another area. There is another chain store on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A Starbucks. Subway is a disease, the Starbucks of this market. It is a plague and it doesn’t have a cure. Paraphrasing the Matrix notwithstanding, the point still stands. Everywhere you turn, and on every street there’s a Subway, waiting for you to enter its doors and partake of its delicious snacky treats. I mentioned it doesn’t have a cure, and that’s because it utterly dominates the market. The only way to compete would be for the local sandwich stores to offer a comparable taste at the same prices; something they just can’t do. Therefore, Subways will stay, feeding people and turning every restaurant into the human aquarium that their awkwardly placed tables and chairs make them, and this one is no exception. If you like Subway, you’ll like this one just fine; they’re all the same, after all. If you don’t, you may as well get used to it. There won’t be any other option in a few years time.

6 inches or 12 … what a question ay? I have always been a fan of Subway! When I am being good I will grab a chicken salad but when I am feeling naughty I always opt for the ultimate calorie filled meatball sub! Yummy! I like Subway because of the choice they offer and the fact you can choose exactly what salad and sauces you want. It is so cheap considering what you get given and can be even cheaper if you decide to try the sub of the day! Every day Subway offers a a delicious sub at a bargain price. They advertise the sub of the day on the window for a measly fee of £2.25… BARGAIN! You cant really go wrong with Subway all the ingrediants are fresh and you can pretty much have what you want…

Another subway on another street, they really are slowly getting onto every street in every town. Despite some people having an issue with subway, I do not, What sets them apart is a fantastic taste that is sorely missing, as so many small businesses just don’t know how to compete in the sandwich stakes. Located on a corner of Crwys rd this subway has 2 tables and 4 chairs but in all likelihood you won’t be staying in to eat. The wide choice of fillings that really taste great make me want a 6inch regularly as a meal but I resist, I just find issue paying over the odds for what is essentially a sandwich or baguette.
