I am a patient at this medical practice. There are some things that I love about it but also some things that I hate about it. I love the fact it offers midwife facilities and baby jabs on site. I also am grateful to have a chemist a stones throw away making it quicker and easier to get my prescriptions. I hate the parking(or lack of parking) outside and I am not keen on do it yourself booking in system as it never seems to be working. The ladies that work in this practice are fantastic. They always try to fit me in if they are fully booked and on days that they cant they always get the doctor to give me a call. The surgery itself could do with a lick of paint but other than that it is fine. It has a good size seating area which is big enough to sit away from other germ ridden patients! Top tip– If you need a same day appointment get your finger ready on speed dial dead on 8 o’clock otherwise you may be disappointed!

A-tissue, a-tissue, we all fall down. No no no readers. Not so. Medical science has come on leaps and bounds since The Plague you know. Get yourself to a doctor. At Grange Medical Practice afternoon appointments are pre-bookable up to two weeks in advance. You can book a morning appointment by telephoning as close to 8.00am as possible on the day you want to be seen. If you require urgent attention, the duty doctor will see you as soon as possible. Telephone the surgery to make appointments during the hours the surgery is open, or by calling in. They’ll try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available they may ask you to see another doctor. The Mother and Baby drop-in clinic for advice and weight checking is every Thursday between 2pm and 3.30pm.
