Ive been going to Olga’s Alterations 4You for alterations and repair services for years, and have to say they always have outstanding quality and great prices. They try hard to help you even if its last minute and they are full. They specialise in all types of clothing alterations like dresses, trousers, jackets, leathers and many more. Have to say definitely the best in cardff.

Travelled espeically to the shop, the female owner (I presume), saw me come in but didn’t even acknowledge me I waited there 5 minutes, had a bag full of clothing and curtains that needed to be altered and she didn’t even smile/say hello or say she’d be with me in a moment. I understand she was busy but some customer service would have been nice. So took my business elsewhere (Canton) and they happened to be cheaper and friendlier.

I’m not sure that Alterations For U warrants being housed in such a large retail space, but it certainly doesn’t have a great deal of competition in the immediate area… and so may be it does? The fact that they actually perform a lot of the alterations at the shop itself means that a reasonable amount of space is available to them.
One thing I love about this shop is that it doesn’t beat around the bush. Instead of being coy about prices, they have mounted a comprehensive list of all of the alterations that they do along with the price for each. There are far too many options to mention here, but suffice to say the prices are very reasonable and the scope of what they can do is impressive. They perform alterations for both men’s and women’s clothing, and they are pretty quick about it too!
