I am a Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in: General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology.

I Specialise in all aspects of diabetic care including insulin treatment, hypoglycaemia and complications of Diabetes.

I specialise in all aspects of General Endocrinology (Glandular disorders).

This includes: Thyroid disorders (Underactivity, Overactivity and Thyroid enlargement), Pituitary Dysfunction, Disorders of Calcium Metabolism,

Adrenal disorders, Male Hormone Deficiencies, High cholesterol etc

I qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital in London in 1979 where I was also awarded The Cheselden Gold Medal in Surgery, the First Beaney Prize in Medicine and the Grainger Prize.

I hold the additional qualifications of MRCP (UK) awarded by examination in 1982 and MD awarded after presentation of a research thesis in 1991.

I am on the specialist register of the GMC (General internal Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology). I have held a Consultant NHS post since 1991. I am a full-​time Consultant at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital in Canterbury.

I am a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in both Edinburgh and London. I hold the post of Professor at St Georges University Grenada.
