It’s small. It’s busy. It plays its jukebox a little too loud. There’s only one ladies loo. But we love it.
You can’t go wrong if you want a good pint of cider (I recommend the Biddenden’s, but a half of the 13% Special Reserve is good for those who want hair put on their chests). There are usually 2 – 3 real ales on tap for about £2.80/pint.
Happy hour here means pints for £2, which is doubly good if you drink Staropramen and there’s always the trusty cheap double vodka (£1.50) and the infamous Pig F**ker if the Biddenden isn’t enough to finish you off.
