Really nice pizzas. Lovely service, had the option of having Parmesan cheese and more pepper on my pizza. Atmosphere was a little bit too noisy for a nice restaurant. Prefer their other restaurant Zizzi more, far quieter and fancier :) Aside from that, good food :)

I try to stay away from chain restaurants when I’m traveling, but I’d been to ASK before and I know it’s solid food. I was so over pub food (even though I lurrrrve The Old Weaver’s House next door to here) and Italian sounded really good, so my friend and I had lunch here on a Saturday right after they opened. We checked out a couple other Italian places, but chose ASK because its menu looked the best. They have a nice garden/​atrium area so we sat there. I ordered pollo e funghi risotto and it totally hit the spot. This is the case with many places in Canterbury, but the inside of the building is interesting and non-​standard. We had a nice, relaxing lunch and I would go back in the future.

Expensive, mediocre food, terrible servicedon’t bother

Had a great mealfrom the Valentines Menu. Recommend the Mushroom n Masala. Loved the desserts. Very helpful (and patient staff). Was good to see that the offer included a soft drink. I didn’t realise until I spotted it afterwards as I don’t drink much but I will remember for next time. Nice architecture, although I didn’t like the paintings very much but my partner did. They looked like someone had spilled some brown and white paint. I would have liked something relating to Canterbury perhaps. I wonder if the same pictures are at other ASK restaurants.
We went there at Lunchtime so we had to put up with a noisy family. I think I will see if I can find a restaurant that has child free areas for their diners. though at Lunchtime it may not be easy. However, I loved the food, just may have to wear ear plugs next time!
I was glad to hear that they now have a fairer tipping policy.

This restaurant can get incredibly busy during the main Canterbury tourist season so it is best to turn up at 12 for lunch. Pizzas and pastas are good quality as you would expect. Their whole meal salads are excellent, with fresh ingredients and a lovely dressing.
They do everything to accommodate your wishes and will vary ingredients on pizzas, if for example, you don’t want olives.
The décor is predominantly white with paintings on the wall, and fresh flowers on each table.

One of my favourites. Lovely specials on at times. Absolutely stunning décor. Friendly, great atmosphere. Will always try their best to seat you comfortably even when busy. Delicious and tasty. Lovely flowers on tables. Nice staff, nice river seating in garden when nice weather too.
