La Raza combines the relaxed vibe of a cocktail bar with the sophistication of a restaurant and lively atmosphere of a live music venue. Open all day long, seven days a week, La Raza offers something for just about everybody, from the young proffesionals enjoying lunch in the sun to romantic couples enjoying bespoke cocktails and a candle lit dinner to party people dancing the night away. Barista coffee is served throughout the day at La Raza, with a fine lunch menu including gourmet sandwiches as well as tapas available from midday. In the evening La Raza’s varied tapas menu, inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean, is served alongside award winning cocktails, beers and fine wines. As well known for its music as it is for its food, La Raza is home to live accoustic acts every Wednesday from 8pm, funk and jazz bands rock out most Thursdays & Fridays and Saturdays come alive to the sounds of Cambridges best DJs.

Spent a few evenings here whilst i worked down Kings street. Great atmosphere, with great cocktails, esp as the bar man tailored me a personal one catered to my preferred tastes. Clientel is good, slightly older crowd mid to late 20’s, even the odd 30 somethings. Great music and the food is great as well.

Love this place… somewhere where the music dosn’t blast your ears… you can actually hear the people you are with when they talk to you… and the music is just fantastic… lounge/chill/funk…brilliant
This is a place for all ages… ABOVE 30… and i fit well into that category

La Raza is a great place to have cocktails in Cambridge. The lounge is downstairs, and the chic interior is comfortable to make anyone feel at home – dimly lit with colored lights and seating for those who want to lounge around. It’s not too casual but also not too swanky. My kinda spot. I had a freshly made basil drink (may have been a basil martini but not sure) and it was the best basil drink I’ve ever had. Ever. Quality cocktails and great music (both DJ’s and live). Perfect for a weekend night out. Don’t miss it.

Love this little bar, came here for my 30th last year and it was great, have been several times. Love that they serve food here, its always good and consistent and reasonabley priced for tapas style food. The drinks are gorgeous, great cocktail menu, and the place itself is just really funky and intimate. Great place to go with friends or your other half, like the dj but wish they would mix the music up a bit more!

It may be underground but there’s nothing Hobbity about Raza, the spacious, stylish café bar on Rose crescent. As it’s large you’ll almost always find a table and the sofa’s are comfy and chic. Rumour has it the waitress speaks five languages…

Im sure many of you have walked passed this place as its tucked away down Rose Crescent.
I was very dubious when I walked in the entrance and down the stairs but I didnt need to be as this is a hidden gem that gives you lots of things that many places in Cambridge dont seem to have.
The food is lovely they have a tapas menu which allows you to try many dishes that you would not normally try and if you dont like it you can easily move on to the next one.
The music gives you a wide range of choice some nights the small dancing place will be packed with customers dancing the night away to the big bass sounds and other nights jazz is on the menu allowing everyone to tap away at their table to the dulcit tones.
The décor is another plus for me its stylish, dark, and romantic a place where you can easily lose track of time and stumble upstairs as its getting light.
