Excellent takeaway, very quick service and the best Kung Po chicken I have ever had. the sit in restauarnt is surprisingly cheap and has good service. it can be sometimes a bit warm in there but generally lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Update — this has now changed to the Red Panda. It is unusual for a restaurant to name itself after the meat they appear to use — hey ho! Seriously, it has gone downhill — the formerly excellent Kung Po chicken appears to be swimming in Bisto now and is not a patch on the previous owner’s recipe. Why do they have to change somethign that always worked so well? Needless to say, we have not been back since then as, with the prices having gone up as well, I am not prepared to risk spending out, only to be disappointed again.
