Arrived, 12 of us, including two toddlers, for a pre-booked Sunday lunch. Offered an 11-top instead, so had to crowd around a table. Lunch was about 2 hours in coming, because the place was incredibly busy. I had some mussels as a starter, which were OK, and something described as an ‘award-winning’ burger. The burger was £13, and featured a brioche bun which fell apart(as brioche buns do) and an incredibly dry patty of beef which I couldn’t finish. We were given a discount on the food, as an apology for the lateness of the mains. Basic gastropub food, then, at surprisingly expensive prices. «Meh. I’ve had better», as the star-rating guidelines have it.

A lovely Sunday dinner. Very good, well seasoned food and family friendly! Apart from seeing bad manners from a customer putting his feet up on the table/chair, the waiters could have mentioned to put his feet down as it would put off incoming customers and lower the reputation of the restaurant/bar! All in all everything else was lovely!

The building is set on the corner of a crossroads so you cant miss it. In the old days this restaurant was not so good but recently i heard good things and found the food staff and menu to be excellent. This is a family run fully fledged Italian restaurant and what a joy it is to dine there. The menu offers a delightful range of italian cuisine and delicious wines and the food was so perfectly presented i enjoyed every mouthful. Even better its not expensive. I will be back!

Took my mum here for mother’s day. Amazing. Good service, good food, good wine, good price. Can’t complain! Had an amazing meal, my mouth is still watering!

This place has lots of charm and a brilliant menu. There are not enough good family run places like this — well worth a visit, Im definitely going back for more.

I only booked this place as St James was fully booked and I am very glad t was. This is an Family run Italian. The restaurant is modern and clean with a really good menu. The quality of the food was exceptional and the service as you would expect was great. Three course dinner for two with pre drinks and a reasonable wine was £100. worth every penny. This is now my favorite local and will be dinning there a lot.
