Opposite the golf club and along from Practice on the Green dentist lies Lee’s Sand Wedge Bar. (Bushey loves a good pun!) Bushey may be lacking in many amenities, but sandwich shops isn’t one of them and Lee’s is the best…
First off, the chaps that work in there are fantastic, they genuinely want to know their customers and build a rapport. So expect to chat!
Secondly, the sandwiches are all made in front of you and they are really tasty! Plus, they roast an actual chicken everyday! Not that questionable cubed «chicken» They have every filling you could possibly want — unlike Bonny’s down the road who claims not to stock salmon because it doesn’t sell.
In short, this place is a gem and worth a visit.
