Very busy which means it must be popular. Booked a table for 9pm and it was ready and waiting. Had starter and main course they were both excellent and my wife really enjoyed her meals also. Overall a really pleasant experience and I would return. I definitely recommend.

Our lass and I thought we would give this place a go after hearing some favourable reviews in the«restaurant bible» that is our local boozer. A great looking place inside and out with a spoilt for choice, albeit a little pricey, bar and a large welcoming dining room staffed by an amusing mix of, one can only guess, enthusiastic owners/partners and«don’t wanna be here» teenagers. The 2⁄3 course early doors menu represents fair value(15⁄18 quidish) for fair quality. My Brill was a sympathetically treated piece of fish accompanied by a Tarragon sauce which lacked seasoning, the vegetable medley on the side was fresh, colourful and justified. Our lass went for the can be safe, can be a disaster option of steak and chips, a lovely piece of sirloin was grilled to exactly med/rare, the chips were bostin and her lips were smackin’. Although we shall not rush back, if invited by friends we would look forward.

One of the only really swanky and sophisticated places to go in Burton. The Dial has great ambiance, it feels like a lounge. It’s very modern inside, it’s dimly lit, the staff is dressed professionally and is attentive. The menu is more mature than other restaurants in the area. They have a fun selection of high-end cocktails. The only downside is that it is pretty pricey, the food is good but you are paying partly for the atmosphere.

The Dial is of one of Burton’s classiest bars, comfy seats, sympathetic lighting and one of the most well stocked bars you’re likely to see, make this a popular venue. Its central location ensures the Dial is consistently the bar of choice for most people on a night out in Burton. Drinks prices are quite inflated, so buying a round here can be quite an alarming experience for your wallet. However, it is a great place to socialise — comfortable and chilled out. The toilets also put most places to shame, impeccably clean, but up two flights of stairs. Having socialised in the Dial, I’d never eaten in the restaurant before. Reports from friends had been encouraging, so we gave it a whirl one Thursday evening. Surprisingly quite a sizeable area, perfect for larger parties. We however, were shown to a cosy booth type table, nice lighting and plenty of room, first impressions were good. The menu was extensive and had deals on two and three courses for a set price before 7.00pm — £14.95/£17.95. We opted for the main and dessert option. My seabass, crayfish and prawn linguini was sublime, a good side order of crunchy fresh vegetables too! My wife’s vegetable linguini was a little bland though. A more promising dessert of Malteser Cheesecake and a strong cup of coffee rounded off on the whole, a good meal. Good service too, friendly but unobtrusive.

Very nice and not overpriced. Waitress didn’t know the menu very well but that’s not really a problem when the steak tastes sooo good. Love the new look after the refurb as well. The Dial is going on my list of regular visits.

I love this restaurant. Each month, they have very good themed night, including a French night and a Mexican night. There is a seperate bar area to the restaurant, so even though it does get busy in the bar at weekends, you never feel claustrophobic. Their steak and chips are to die for.

A welcoming atmosphere with a professional /over 25’s persona. Great food though a little pricy. Staff always pleasant and attentive.

This is a wine bar type of pub right in the middle of burton town centre. It is a nice place to go for lunch time drinks with friends. How ever in the evening it seems to be a meeting place for peolple before heading into town for night clubs etc and can get very busy. I think the drinks are abit pricey. I have been for meal twice in the evening and both times thought the food was over priced and not very good. On the whole the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Much better at lunch time than nighttime tho.
