Even for a downmarket town like Burnham this place is a stinker. A soulless and dreary seafront bar and(I use this term loosely) restaurant with staff who are more interested in chatting to each other than serving you. The food smacks of reheated, chilled dishes prepared somewhere else and eating it off sticky tables with the condiments in sachets adds nothing to it. Yes, it’s dirt cheap but even at those prices it’s not worth one penny of your hard-earned cash. The only thing this place has going for it is a perfectly kept pint of IPA for 99p which is just as well because | needed quite a few of them to numb myself.
